TA Program Structure, Policies, and Procedures
- Application timeline: Applications close on 12/31/22. Please see website for more information.
- TA program structure: TA provides funding for programs and projects defined as transportation alternatives, including pedestrian and bicycle facilities, Safe Routes to School projects, safe routes for non-drivers, community improvement activities, and environmental mitigation projects.
- Who is eligible to apply: City and County Governments, transit agencies, natural resource or public land agencies, schools, tribal governments, and any other local or regional governmental entity with responsibility for or oversight of transportation or recreational trails.
- Application components: Project name, location, contact, sponsor, project description, project cost, eligibility, supporting documentation, public accessibility, matching funds, ROW, maintenance plan, environmental impact
- Selection criteria: Community benefit, benefit to transportation system, impact, effectiveness, public support, inclusion in planning documents, equity, accessibility, safety, environmental impact
- Is there an advisory committee?: Yes
