TA Program Structure, Policies, and Procedures
- Application timeline: Applications close on 4/15/22. Please see website for more information.
- TA program structure: The program is run through a state-level TAP office. The projects go through a competitive selection process.
- Application tips: All interested applicants must complete a Statement of Intent (SOI) in order to receive access to the TA application. The SOI form is open from March 1 to April 15. The intent of the SOI is to provide general information about the project you intend to apply for. Submitting an SOI does not commit you to apply for a project.
- Who is eligible to apply: Local government, regional transportation authorities, transit agencies, natural resource or public land agencies, school districts, applicants within Large Urbanized Areas (MPOs/RPCs), and tribal governments
- Application components: Project sponsor, ability to provide match, TA project eligibility, inclusion in transportation improvement plan, project description and implementation plan, LAP certification, cost estimate, project status (permits, environmental clearance, etc), right of way, indication of public involvement, project maintenance plan, design specifications, equity considerations
- Selection criteria: Economic impact, safety, included in a master plan, placement in committee’s project type prioritization
- Is there an advisory committee?: Yes
- Advisory committee members: The Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM), The Wyoming County Commissioners Association (WCCA), Wyoming Department of Education, Wyoming Department of Health, the Wyoming Business Council (WBC), Director of Wyoming DOT, FHWA
- Project award minimum: None
- Project award maximum: $500,000
- Match requirement: 20%
