TA Program Structure, Policies, and Procedures
- Application timeline: Applications close on 3/19/22. Please see website for more information.
- TA program structure: The program is run through a state level TAP office. The State uses a competitive selection process with input from the state’s RPCs.
- Who is eligible to apply: Local government, school districts or local education agencies
- Application information: NH TAP applications are open on a 4-year cycle.
- Application components: Project sponsor, ability to provide match/funding plan, TA eligibility, project description and implementation plan, cost estimates, project status (permits, environmental clearance, etc.), public involvement, project maintenance plan, design specs
- Selection criteria: Project readiness and support (13%), financial readiness (15%), feasibility (9%), stress analysis (12%), improve safety conditions (16%), network connectivity (20%), Regional Planning Commission rankings (15%)
- Application tips: All projects must have a certified LPA as the person in responsible charge. Scoring criteria is available on the NH TAP site.
- Is there an advisory committee?: No
- Project award minimum: $400,000
- Project award maximum: $1,250,000
- Typical local match: 20%
