Trails To Explore Near New York City:

Hudson River Greenway | Manhattan

Separated from traffic, this two-lane, 12.9-mile paved trail runs along the Hudson River passing through a series of parks while offering beautiful views of the waterfront and city skyline.

Randall’s Island Park Trails | Manhattan

Randall’s Island features 8.75 miles of connected paved trails in a peaceful recreational oasis. The trails can be accessed by bike across the Harlem River into Manhattan and across the Bronx Kill waterway via the Randall’s Island Connector.

Roosevelt Island Greenway | Roosevelt Island

Named after President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, this flat loop runs for 3.8 miles around the island and under the Queensboro Bridge, connecting Lighthouse Park and Southpoint Park.

Hudson River Waterfront Walkway | Jersey City

For nearly 22 miles, this path offers spectacular views of the neighboring New York City skyline, passing notable sites including the Weehawken Waterfront Park and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Bronx River Greenway | The Bronx

This developing trail runs for 22 miles along the Bronx River, traveling from the mouth of the East River north to the Kensico Dam. Its completed sections provide access to museums, historical sites and parks.
