Rio Hondo River Trail | Whittier Narrows Natural Area

The 20.4-mile paved Rio Hondo River Trail connects urban and suburban neighborhoods, parks and other recreation areas across Greater Los Angeles.

Los Angeles River Trail | Vernon

Running alongside the Los Angeles River, this trail features a mix of paved and dirt segments creating a 32-mile route that will one-day connect 50 miles between Canoga Ranch and Long Beach.

Orange Line Bike Path | Encino

This 15.7-mile trail, once a Southern Pacific Railroad corridor, delivers a dedicated environment for cycling and walking as well as connection points to transit and many recreational opportunities.

Marvin Braude Bike Trail | Marine Del Ray

Commonly referred to as “The Strand,” this paved trail hugs 22 miles of coastline traversing neighborhoods, beaches and attractions like the Venice Boardwalk and Santa Monica Pier.

Whittier Greenway Trail | Los Angeles County

This recently extended urban trail runs 7.5 miles showcasing native plants and art, with an on-road connection to the nearby Whittier Uptown Historic District.
